Ah, Dr Toast, never before have I met anyone else who was so acutely aware of the intricate social structures in a loaf of bread. Up until now I have wandered this earth thinking that I was alone in my knowledge of how and why it is that yeast rises to the top of the social stratum, and who it is that keeps crust on the outer of the society of the loaf. So what if they look different? So what if the crust doesn't have the same 'values'!
Bah! It's too hard for me to think about!

I feel I must correct you Dr. Toast - it is a well known fact that raisins DO in fact fall to the bottom of a toaster that is plugged in and switched on.
By 'switched on' I do not mean that it has the latest gadgets, pop cd or fashion accessories - no, I mean it is actually mechanically connected to the electricity supply.
It is then, and only then, that a raisin will be attacked by a current and fall gasping into the crumb tray.
Bearing this in mind, it is adviseable that you, in order that unnessary grief can be avoided, do not to become too familiar with your raisins.
