Dr. Toast - “The Wave Function” (2008)

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

The Wave Function

Radiant textures and melodies over deep, head-nodding beats and dirty analog basslines - the perfect soundtrack for a midnight drive through the desert. Over three years in the making, “The Wave Function” is the result of my continuing immersion in San Francisco music and art communities. My eyes and ears are always being turned on to something new and strange and beautiful, and I hope you’ll be able to hear some of that in these songs. I am eternally thankful for all of the support and encouragement that has made this music possible, and I hope you’ll enjoy listening as much as I’ve enjoyed making it. You can order the CD now, featuring original artwork by Dr. Toast, or download songs now at addictech.com in high-quality MP3 or lossless FLAC/WAV formats, or download from iTunes in m4p format.

The Entanglement EP

Released simultaneously with “The Wave Function”, these are four tracks of evolving textures with skronked-up basslines and slow, funky breakbeats - harder-edged than what’s on the album, but still with the right amount of bliss factor dialed in. You can download it now at the new False Profit Records minisite at Addictech in high-quality MP3 or lossless FLAC/WAV formats - falseprofit.addictech.com, or you can download MP3s at CD Baby, or download from iTunes in m4p format.
