Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 - EvilBreaks says: “Come join us at Mighty where we’ll be broadcasting the election coverage throughout the club with a soundtrack provided by a bunch of amazing artists who just can’t help but celebrate the fact that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel, and yes, it’s changing colors. In the back room we’ll have some food & snacks as well as a couple televisions setup in a more relaxing environment so that the more serious voter can catch all the election info as it comes in. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 @ 6pm-ish: The camp with the unwieldy yet oh-so-apt name is hosting a toast-themed happy hour, and yours truly is providing the soundtrack! William tells me, “I have created a screen print of toast popping out of a toaster which we will apply onto peoples clothes, we will serve toast, give toasts and offer treats toasted in various ways.” And Marty says, “We’re in the midst of preparations and and we’re all really psyched for the Wednesday happy hour. We’ve already starting spreading the word and we’re thinking about starting your set around dusk, or maybe even a little earlier — like somewhere in the 6pm - 9pm time frame. You can spin for however long you want, and then there will probably be another DJ coming on. We’ll wrap things up and roll out into the night around 11 or 12. I don’t really ever wear a watch out there so these are all rough time estimates.”

Friday, August 30, 2008 @ 8pm: The Flaming Lotus Girls have outdone themselves again this year and created “Mutopia” - a fiery garden of metal made of cast aluminium, steel, copper, flame, and light, featuring 13 independent seed pods with computer-controlled propane flame effects. On the Friday night before the man burns, the Girls will host a fireworks show in front of Mutopia (located at 4:30 and Esplanade), and Dr. Toast has the honor of providing the soundtrack! Saturday, July 5th, 2008 - False Profit, LLC’s annual Life Quality Enhancement product, Priceless, was scheduled for release in Belden this coming weekend but has been recalled due to uncontained pre-apocalyptic wildfire. Insiders at the company are reporting that Priceless is now set for release later this summer. In response, False Profit’s Research and Development Brigade worked frantically for two days to develop a replacement product. False Profit’s first response to the statewide catastrophe, called EVAC!, is set to be unveiled at a warehouse location in San Francisco on Saturday, July 5th, 2008.

Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27 - Dr. Toast plays a special set by the pond on Friday night at the 12th annual Friends and Family campout in Mendocino County, CA. Comfy chill space, firelight and more. Camp & Sons is a beautiful retreat, complete with a communal kitchen, a pond, orchards, three hot tubs (two of which are wood-fired), a well-maintained lawn area for lounging, beautiful gardens, outdoor showers, and much more. For the July 4th weekend, come join Dr. Toast on the beautiful Feather River in Belden, CA for the 3rd annual Priceless campout. Dr. Toast will be joined by such musical luminaries as Chris de Luca vs Phon.o, Tom Burbank, Vibesquad, Deru, and many others. Activities for the weekend will include a Dr. Seuss birthday party, merit badges, a flame tree workshop, hand percussion workshop, 4th of July bbq, free Sunday breakfast, and more!
